Banks School Employee Training

We’ve had some recent activity with employee training through the Banks School. Groups of our employees recently completed requirements for “Basic Kiln Drying” and “Color Sorting”, both essential to our hardwood lumber grading programs. Some other classes recently completed included “Banks History and Philosophy” and “Quality Standards”, as well as detailed facilities tours. In August, a group of our employees visited one of our vending mills to learn about hardwood sawmill operations, and in September another group of our employees toured a customer’s facility to learn about the process for manufacturing hardwood cabinet doors and drawer fronts.
